The Decorative Page Description

Codex Bodmer 19, f.45r - Pseudo-Bernard of Clairvaux

This 6-week Live online and recorded series will work with several Decorative Pages from the middle ages. Each element comprising the manuscript page will be explored, including decorative capitals, flamboyant embellishments and page decorations, as well as the mise-en-page (page layout).

WEEKLY ART WORK & SHARING
Work in progress is due each week by 7:00am Friday mornings via uploading to Dropbox. 

LIVE SESSION FORMAT
Live Class sessions include demonstrations and open class discussions on weekly art work. Students are encouraged to talk through struggles and share successes.

MONDAY EVENING OPEN STUDIO SALON (Optional)
Monday evening Live (not recorded) Open Studio Salon sessions are offered each Monday following the Friday session and available as a relaxed evening session for questions, troubleshooting, working on projects together.
