Marina Soria, Instructor This 2-Day (9+ hour) workshop starts from an experimental alphabet or a formal one with a personal twist, working with space, to make new compositions where space is not the blank portion of the paper.  Students examine the way surfaces are left blank, discovering the spaces are far from empty, but alive as they turn into the womb of shape.
